Terms of Service

1. The Service

Canviz takes a video you upload or link to, finds the strongest moments, renders vertical clips with captions and other edits, and, if you choose, schedules and publishes them to social platforms you connect. Features, limits and prices are described at https://canviz.ai/pricing and may change over time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and able to enter into a contract.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, scripts and other material you provide (“Your Content”) and to the clips generated from it. You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including publishing it to the accounts you connect on your instructions.

You are responsible for Your Content. You represent that:

• you own it or have all rights needed to upload, edit and republish it, including any music, footage, likenesses and trademarks it contains;
• it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law or the terms of the platform it came from or is published to;
• when you paste a link, you have the right to download and re-use that video.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, or re-upload others’ work without permission;
• create or spread content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or deceptive (including impersonation or undisclosed synthetic media where disclosure is required);
• circumvent plan limits, probe or disrupt our systems, or access the Service by automated means other than our documented interfaces;
• violate the terms, community guidelines or automation policies of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or any other platform you publish to.

5. Connected platforms

Publishing depends on third-party platforms. You authorise Canviz to act on your behalf with the connected accounts, within the permissions you grant. Platforms may change their rules, rate-limit, reject or remove posts, or revoke access at any time; we are not responsible for their decisions. Content published through Canviz is subject to each platform’s terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service where applicable.

5a. Using the Service outside the United States

The Service is operated from the United States and is offered to users in the United States and across Asia and other regions. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live, including local rules on content, advertising disclosures, data and export controls. We may restrict availability of some features in some countries where a platform or law requires it. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise; your bank or PayPal may apply conversion fees.

6. AI-generated output

Clip selection, captions, titles, descriptions, voiceovers and scripts are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review everything before publishing; you are responsible for what you post. Output may be similar to output generated for other users and is not exclusive to you.

7. Plans, billing and cancellation

• The free plan has monthly limits. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through PayPal, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling stops future charges but we do not prorate or refund partial periods except where required by law.
• If a payment fails we may downgrade your account to the free plan after notice.
• Prices may change; we will give at least 30 days’ notice before a change affects an existing subscription.
• Taxes may be added where applicable.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Canviz and its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use our name or logos, or to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing kamalojasv2000@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or have been inactive for more than 12 months on the free plan, with notice where practical. Sections 3, 5a, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee any particular views, reach or revenue from published content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canviz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Canviz against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms or of a third-party platform’s terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally. Before filing a claim, contact us at kamalojasv2000@gmail.com; most issues can be resolved quickly.

If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you mandatory protections that cannot be waived by contract, including in India, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and the European Economic Area, nothing in these terms limits those protections, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence. Any waiver of class or collective actions applies only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
